River Challenge I
This is the best introduction to river kayaking you will find anywhere. We may use inflatable or hardshell kayaks on this trip. Our most popular trip. A guide will help you every step of the way of your river adventures. You may see beaver, deer, blue heron, hawks, and numerous beaver lodges long the way. Learn how to read the water, paddle small rapids, and maneuver around obstacles. This trip is on low water making it the lowest risk of flipping, and the water is slower and more shallow.
River Challenge II
This guided trip is on high water, you will experience faster moving deeper water, exploring places on the river you can't paddle to on low water. Some rapids wash out and others intensify, your guide will help you along the way if you are the least bit apprehensive. We may use inflatable or hardshell kayaks on this trip. Beginners and experienced paddlers alike can enjoy this trip as many unexpected treats await you on this adventure. The risk of flipping is minimal.
